Brackenhurst Adventures

Brackenhurst Adventures is a Christian adventure team-building program that enables mission, corporate, and school groups to focus on leadership, building trust, enhancing communication, problem solving, encouragement, and celebrating accomplishments. Our current programming tools are a low & high element ropes course, an indoor rock climbing room, a climbing tower, and now offsite adventures, such as rock climbing, hiking, and camping. Ultimately, Brackenhurst Adventures exists to glorify God by using experiential learning through adventure to build relationships and encourage change.

By providing safe and effective teambuilding the participants improve communication skills, build trust, and work better as a team; but also experience God in this Christian setting and leave with a unique and lasting connection to the program and its facilitators. This connection creates fellowship opportunities that allow staff to build relationships away from the adventures program that we pray will lead to the furthering of the Gospel. In addition to providing teambuilding for secular companies and schools, Brackenhurst Adventures desires to work with mission organizations and Christian non-government organizations to improve team dynamics.

In addition to traditional teambuilding, Brackenhurst Adventures serves as one of the few venues in Kenya that offers quality adventure activities, such as rock climbing, hiking, and camping. Our desire is to use this offsite programming as an extension of our adventures program, as a tool for our student outreach team, and for connecting with other outdoor enthusiasts. It is our hope that these offsite programs would provide our team with additional opportunities to build relationships with our corporate and school groups. We believe that time in the outdoors, around a campfire or a day of climbing, can promote great conversations with group members or students as well as connect them with God’s creation. By creating opportunities for both students and adults to escape from the fast-paced realities of their lives, our team hopes to connect with other outdoor enthusiasts where we can cultivate friendships, share our experiences and spur them on in their relationship with Christ.

Brackenhurst Adventures continues to reach new groups each year and we are excited to see God continue to influence lives through this program!
