Get Involved - Give
By financially supporting Brackenhurst Ministries you can be actively involved in the the work going on in Kenya. By giving an undesignated gift or one designated for the “General Fund” you can ensure your gift goes where it is most needed at that moment. By designating your gift for one of the people or projects listed below you can give directly to someone or something that the Lord has laid on your heart. Needs are broken down by project.
- Adventure Program and Camp Programs - $10,000 is needed annually to buy new supplies and replace equipment.
- International and South Asian Ministry – Since these ministries are largely relational, the majority of the funding needed is to provide for the needs of missionaries on the ground.
- Missionary Personal Support
- Support for a single missionary - $1,000 per person per month covers a missionaries salary, insurance, and yearly plane ticket.
- Support for a missionary family - $2,500 per month will cover the cost of the basic needs for a family.
- Living Expenses – Brackenhurst Ministries seeks to raise enough funding to cover some of the living expenses for missionaries to lessen the amount of personal support that they raise.
- Rent - $2,000 per month (currently 2 houses)
- Vehicle Maintenance and Fuel - $400 per month
- New 4WD Vehicle – $25,000 will purchase a new 4WD vehicle that we desperately need.
- Student Ministry Fund - $100 per month will cover the cost of student events and materials for youth group.
- Asian Ministry Fund - $50 per month will cover the cost of events and materials for South Asian Ministry.
- Western Project – There are many ways to support the Western Project. Here are some of the most current needs.
- Buy a cow through Cows for Christ - $500
- Sponsor a child from the orphanage - $40 per month
- Start a new chicken coup to provide eggs for orphans - $1,150
- Lease 15 acres for farming - $4,000
- Drill a new borehole - $10,000
- Supply maize (the staple food) for the orphans for 1 month - $3,000
- Supply maize for needy families in the churches for 1 month - $4,000

- Open your home and invite your friends to a presentation about what Brackenhurst Ministries is doing in Kenya. We will either send a missionary or a stateside representative to do the presentation. Contact us if this is something you would like to pursue.
- Tell any college students that you feel would make good counselors about opportunities to serve on our camps staff.
- Camp supplies are a major expense each year so you can help us by recruiting your Sunday School Class, Small Group, or Youth Group to donate new camp supplies. Just contact us for a list of what we need.
