Most of the 140 orphans lost their parents to AIDS and their extended families are unable or unwilling to care for them. The orphans are aged 4 – 18. Japeth is an orphan who has lost one parent. He is 14 and is in Standard 8 (the last year of primary school). By sponsoring an orphan, you can help provide hope for a child like Japeth. Here is his story. My names are Japeth Oketi. I have benefited from this school since the year 2004. In the field of education, I have been assisted well. And now I see a future in my life. Also the staying has been very conducive. I have been cared for in supplements like food, clothing, and also a place to stay. Generally, Rehema has been a good place for me. When I leave Rehema, I hope that God will enable me to get to a place same as this one. |
